Thunderbird Integration into Dolphin and LibreOffice

    Hello Community,

I have set Thunderbird as my default mail client instead of KMail, but Dolphin and Libreoffice still opens KMail with its built-in "send with mail" function.

    I have Kubuntu 16.10, KDE 5.8.5 and Kernel 4.9.4.

    How can I change it?

    Thank you!

    Kind Regards,
    Richard

    Hi, Richard -

System Settings --> Applications --> Default Applications is where you want to be.

    Hope this helps -

      Hello,

This I have done already; it has changed thunderbird as the default mail application only for some other apps, but not for the two most important ones: Dolphin and LibreOffice!

      Regards,
      Richard

I don't know about Dolphin as I only use Dolphin as a filesystem browser. But in LibreOffice, just click on LibreOffice, then Tools->Options->Internet->Email and then browse to the usr/bin/thunderbird link.
