Digikam No Longer Detects my Camera Properly

Hi,

Since upgrading to 16.10, Digikam is no longer detecting my Canon EOS 400D camera properly. This always worked out of the box, since at least a decade ago. When I click on 'Import - Cameras' in the Menu, I get an entry:- 'Canon Inc. Canon Digital Camera (autodetected)', but when I click on that entry, nothing happens. Also, I'm pretty sure that the model number of the the camera was included in the entry previously.

This is what gphoto says:

Anyone else experiencing this?

I get the same behaviour with Canon EOS 450D. This is a clean install of 16.10. I already tried adding the camera manually both in digiKam and System Settings, but it didn't help. I can access the files on the camera with Dolphin, though.
