No system administration icons in System Settings

I installed Kubuntu 16.10 in a dual boot situation. Dual boot work okay, but when bringing up System Settings there is nothing for System Administration. It appears that all other sections are there.

I have applied all the updates I can find.

    HP Pavilion 15-au123cl
    kubuntu 16.10
Windows 10 is the other OS
    12 G Ram

Anybody have an Idea about what I can do?

    Thanks in advance,
    Monon

Open a konsole and install systemd-ui, the 'graphical frontend for systemd'.

sudo apt update && sudo apt install systemd-ui

This won't add a System Administration section in System Settings as there is in 16.04. Just click anywhere on the Desktop that isn't active and start typing: systemadm and press Enter.
Windows no longer obstructs my view.

Is systemd-gui and libkf5configgui5 in the 16.10 repository? They should help to put the systemd-gui icon in the systemsettings.

What exactly are you expecting to see?

The answers already posted assume you mean systemd init system admin tools, but your question seems more general to me.

The Plasma 5 doesn't use the System Settings System Administration category - System Settings Categories and Modules: https://docs.kde.org/trunk5/en/kde-w...s/general.html

          - Workspace

            Systemd kcm module

            Plasma devel mailing list: https://mail.kde.org/pipermail/plasm...il/040710.html

            Hey Plasma devs,

My name is Ragnar Thomsen. I have developed a kcm module for managing
systemd called kcmsystemd, which some of you may be familiar with.
Kcmsystemd currently allows for controlling systemd units, logind
sessions, timers and easy editing of the main config files. Recently,
            I ported kcmsystemd to KF5.

Kcmsystemd is currently hosted on GitHub
(https://github.com/rthomsen/kcmsystemd), but I was encouraged by
Jonathan Riddell to move it to KDE infrastructure. So I have now
acquired a KDE dev account and will attempt to setup a repository
            under playground/sysadmin.

Any comments on kcmsystemd are welcome

I will be using the nick rthomsen on IRC.

            Sincerely,
            Ragnar
At now the Systemd kcm module will add the System administration category and the SystemD launch button...

Looks like a really beneficial module. I'd like to see this become part of Plasma by default.

I think it will be. I have the icon in Sid also.

Thanks to all for your help. Most of my problem was just my ignorance of the 16.10 system settings layout. Finally got what I needed.
