Surface 3 support

Hello,

In the YakketyYak release note :
"We also have updated to version 4.8 of the Linux kernel with improvements across the board such as Microsoft Surface 3 support."

But the live USB don't boot on the surface 3 ...

I tried with and without sd card, with and without the power cable, with and without the keyboard.

The boot freeze at "account-daemon.service"

Anyone have an idea ?

Did you 'prepare' the Surface 3 (is it a Surface Pro 3?) for installation of a second OS first?

A surface 3 (non pro)
Yes i have already a dual boot wth win10 and a custom fedora 24 (https://stephenjust.ca/fedora-surface3.html)

With the fedora custom live usb disk i can boot and install it normaly on my EXT4 partition, but the Kubuntu live USB freeze on boot.

I don't know why because kubuntu announce the support of Surface 3 (non pro)...
