kaddressbook crashes

In fact, kaddressbook crashes since I upgraded to 16.04. I reported bug https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=365800, but there is no activity on this.
So I decided to upgrade to 16.10. Unfortunately kaddressbook shows the same behaviour. What I've tried today was this:

I removed all *akonadi* files and directories from .local, .config, .kde and did a reboot.
After that, I had to add a contacts resource to akonadi (using akonadiconsole). After that I was able to start kaddressbook but the list of contacts was empty.
So I did another reboot. After that, kaddressbook crashed again.

Has anybody an idea what I could do to get my kaddressbook working again?

Should be some KDEPIM suite updates on the way for 16.10, so you should probably re-test once you get those.

Yes, got it today, minutes after I opened this thread. Unfortunately it didn't stop kaddressbook from crashing. But crash handling is better now, was able to report a bug with the bug reporting assistant. Couldn't do that prior to the update.

When I run kaddressbook from the Konsole it opens OK and works fine, but here is the list of messages it leaves in the Konsole:
