Kubuntu - Yakkety Yak - Beta 1

So just a word of warning, we weren't ready for this beta milestone.

But if anyone has spare hardware, good internet connection and time please do download it and help test. The more physical installs and testing that goes on, the more issues can be fixed before release date.

Thanks. Will give it a go and report any issues to the test tracker. Although if Ubiquity crashes as in the prior test case, it may prove difficult.

Yes Ubiquity was crashing when it got to the slideshow as it uses an older module which doesn't exist in Yakkety any more (or Debian for that matter). We disabled the slideshow part for now, but the installer really needs to be ported to Qt 5.
