I don't know if this question is even appropriate for this forum, so I'm also going to post it on the VMware forum. Here's what's going on. I'm running an up-to-date 16.04 with a Windows 10 VM. Every time I shut the VM down, it informs me that the VMware Tools package is not running in the VM. Except that it should be; I've installed and reinstalled it. I posted here because I think a number of us use VMware, so someone else may have encountered the same problem. I'll be grateful for any ideas. Thanks.
- Please do not use the CODE tag when pasting content that contains formatting (colored, bold, underline, italic, etc).
The CODE tag displays all content as plain text, including the formatting tags, making it difficult to read.
