Kmail search does not work

Kmail search does not work meaning the result of the search still empty.

Here my system specification :
OS version Ubuntu 16.04.4 LTS"

KMail version 5.2.3

$ akonadictl -v

If this is a version problem please tell me how to upgrade. I waited long times in hoping that problem is solving alone through the upgrade.
