KMail once again not starting after upgrade

As the title says.

KMail won't open. No error message or nothing.

Seems Akonadi isn't running.

Trying to start akonadi gives some error messages including this one :

stderr: "mysqld: [ERROR] Could not open required defaults file: /home/erwin/.local/share/akonadi/mysql.conf\nmysqld: [ERROR] Fatal error in defaults handling. Program aborted!\n"

Note the backslash in mysql.conf\nmysqld
