Get New Widgets stuck on weather? Only shows the 2 weather widgets....

I have no real idea when the problem started, as I haven't downloaded new widgets for awhile, but it was working fine before.
When I went to look at the available widgets, all that will show is the 2 weather widgets...
So far as I can tell the Plasma Add-on Installer is working for everything else.
Any ideas on what could cause this?

do you do regular updates ,,,,

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get  dist-upgrade

Sometimes the third party website used to provide the Get Hot New Stuff is fubar, or changes something on their end that breaks things in the applet.

I checked on my end just befor I posted and it (the get new widgets) was working well ATM .
