    Moving Vivaldi ?

When Bionic Beaver comes out I want to move/setup Vivaldi on it as my browser.

Do I have to completely reinstall it or is there and easy way (easier than Firefox) to copy/paste it over to the new computer?

    PS
Still looking for a new email program to replace Thunderbird

    Thanks

It's your choice, of course, but when I install (as opposed to upgrading) a new OS, I do these steps.
        - Backup all my data from the /home partition.
        - I then do a clean install of the new OS, including formatting the / partition (/dev/sda1) but NOT the /home partition (/dev/sda2 plus the /home/multimedia /dev/sdb1).
        - I then install the new OS which sets up any related user data in the existing /home. The I install other software which may not be in the initial install (i.e., Vivaldi, Clementine).

The backup is purely to recover essential user data, docs, etc. if I managed to screw up formatting or if I had to adjust the size of the / partition. Normally it just works and don't have to do anything special.

Yah I tried the upgrade route once.
