    Help installing Thunderbird 50 on Kubuntu 16.04 ?

    Yes a I know this is NOT the latest version of Tbird and that's the point.
    Can someone help with terminal commands for installing this older version?

    I will be easier to migrate my existing of version 52 Tbird to my new computer with Tbird 50 on it

      You can go here https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/releases/ select your version, download the tar.bz file, extract it where you want and run it from the directory.
