    On mouseover......picture preview?

On previous versions of Kubuntu/Plasma when I was looking around the desktop, as I moused-over a picture (jpeg etc) it would get slight larger so I could identify it. (show a preview)
Either I have turned that off and didn't know it or it was not on to begin with.

I have looked around the settings, but have found nothing that sounds like it would make that happen.

Is that a discontinued feature or is there a way to make 16.04 do that?

    Thanks

go to the settings>configure dolphin>general>Behavior tab and check "show tool tips" and then apply .

the ir is also the "information" panel ,,,,hit F11 wile dolphin has focus , then hovering over anything shows their ,

you have "previews" on in that directory don't you ,,,,, so the picture is showing and not just an generic .jpeg icon ?

Yes...and I did what you said...but I am talking about on the desktop and not in dolphin?

It did make it give a preview in Dolphin
