    Drivers Manager and VLC Player

    Hi all.
Just upgraded to 16.04 from 15.10 and I noticed:
1- Drivers Manager at System Settings does nothing (just says "gathering system info" and that's it for as long as you leave it).
2- Some of the video effects in VLC Player 2.2.2 (Gamma settings, Interactive Zoom, and Rotate, for example, among others) are not working for .mov or .mp4 files. They do work for .avi and .mkv ones. There may be some others in which the effects work and others in which they don't; I did but a very quick test.
(Some other stuff got fixed since 15.10, I'm glad to say...).
    Any ideas?
    Thanks!

    1) Known bug. Workaround is to install drivers manually with muon or apt in konsole.

To see available drivers (packages) for your hardware type in konsole
    Code:
    ubuntu-drivers devices
and then install specific package with muon or apt.

    2) I use smplayer so I cannot help.
