key sequence 'Shift+Del' is ambiguous in Gwenview

I installed 16.04 (64bit) 3 days ago. I don't want to move things to Trash. When I try to delete an image in Gwenview, I get the message:

The key sequence 'Shift+Del' is ambiguous. Use 'Configure Shortcuts'
from the 'Settings' menu to solve the ambiguity.
    No action will be triggered.

Yet when I look at Shortcuts in System settings, I can find no shift+del defined anywhere. Ditto for Input devices > Keyboard.

Also, I cannot figure out how to define a shortcut in one of those things.

I do not use the same home on my different systems. I have all my files in a subdirectory of my home directory and I diddle firefox, thunderbird and amarok to point to those files. But the other config files are those defined by the install of 16.04.

    What can I do?

In Gwenview, Settings -> Configure Shortcuts and just click on the one to reconfigure.

      Great, that worked!

In fact, shift+ del was the alternate shortcut for "Cut" (ctl-x), so I just deleted that and all is well.

      Thanks.
