Amarok has disappeared after upgrade to 16.04

    Hi
Amarok has disappeared after upgrade to 16.04.
    Try to install, but:

    Code:
    per@per-SharkBay:~$ sudo apt-get install amarok
    [sudo] passord for per:
    Leser pakkelister ... Ferdig
    Skaper oversikt over avhengighetsforhold
    Leser tilstandsinformasjon ... Ferdig

    sudo apt install amarok
    per@per-SharkBay:~$ sudo apt install amarok

Sorry it is in Norwegian, but it there is a lack of decadencies " 2:2.8.0-0ubuntu9) men 2:2.8.90-0ubuntu1~ubuntu15.10~ppa2 skal installeres"

Can we get a rough translation of the Norwegian?

KDE UserBase Wiki - Konsole: https://userbase.kde.org/Konsole
      Language

With Konsole you can change the language to plain English (to see bugs info for example) by command:

      export LANG=C
      Before you edit, BACKUP !

Why there are dead links ?
      1. Thread: Please explain how to access old kubuntu forum posts

He said, he is trying to reinstall amarok, but he gets all the time the same error ("unmet dependency", BUT he has 2:2.8.90-0ubuntu1~ubuntu15.10~ppa2, he needs 2:2.8.0-0ubuntu9 or the other way around)

I had the same problem (probably):
          Code:
          nick@nickdesk:~$ sudo apt-get install amarok
          Reading package lists... Done
          Building dependency tree
          Reading state information... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

The following packages have unmet dependencies.
           amarok : Depends: amarok-common (= 2:2.8.0-0ubuntu9) but 2:2.8.90-0ubuntu1~ubuntu15.10~ppa2 is to be installed
Recommends: kdemultimedia-kio-plugins (>= 4:4.2.0) but it is not going to be installed
E: Unable to correct problems, you have held broken packages.
It seems that if you were previously using the backports ppa, you have an orphaned version of amarok-common.

          However if you:
          Code:
          sudo apt-get autoremove amarok-common
          then
          Code:
          sudo apt-get install amarok
you will hopefully find the problem solved.
