No Internet after using VPN

I installed Torguard VPN. While using, I lost my window decoration after earlier in the day getting a nvidia update, so done a reboot without closing the VPN. Now I can only get the internet through Torguard. Can someone give me advice on how to retrieve my original internet settings ?
My first post so could I recommend a mild sedative or a good dose of patience.

SOLVED
sudo kate /etc/NetworkManager/NetworkManager.conf

Comment out following line
dns=dnsmasq

sudo dpkg-reconfigure resolvconf
REBOOT
