    Touchpad working but not found...

I have bought an Asus Vivobook E200 and installed Kubuntu 16.04 with backports on it. Now that I've built an installed a back ported kernel module for the inbuilt wifi*, everything is working great. Except the touchpad, which is hyper sensitive and makes using graphical tools a bit hit and miss.

The problem is that when I go into Settings -> System Settings -> Input Devices -> Touchpad it tells me "No touchpad found" and every adjustable thing is greyed out.

If the touchpad wasn't working I would know what information would help but in this case I am at a loss.

Further diggig around revealed that it's being recognised as a mouse, which probably means that there is no Lix driver available. Fiddling around with the mouse settings seems to have brought it under control so that's good enough for now.

These forums really need a "Solved(ish)" for work arounds
