Primary Monitor changes every morning

Hi,

I have Kubuntu 16.04, newest updates installed, Intel HD 4600 Graphic, (i5-4570), more exactly:
VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Xeon E3-1200 v3/4th Gen Core Processor Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 06)

1 Monitor is connected via HDMI the other via DVI.

Every morning the primary monitor changes, then I start System settings, go to the monitor settings, choose the "other" monitor as primary (if HDMI1 is the actual, I choose HDMI2), apply and then my normal primary monitor is the primary again.

Strange is, that HDMI1 and HDMI2 switches every morning too.

Computer doesn't get rebootet over night and just gets locked over night. Locking it for midday doesn't change anything.

Is this a known issue or how can I debug this furthermore to get a stable primary monitor?

Same here. My Nvidia config settings get lost almost every day. Really annoying. Unfortunately, I havent found a fix yet either.

Have an update: I powered down my primary monitor and then it switched to the still powered on 2nd monitor.

So I have an explanation for the behaviour and know how to avoid it and understand why it happens and could be considered a feature.
