    Errors upgrading

    Hi, I am brand new here but having problems updating, when i try, it suggests i uninstall kde-full -_-

    Use instead, sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
    Windows no longer obstructs my view.

        I have both of those installed @hear ,,,,,,did you cut some of your sources out of the post ,,,,,,because libkipi-data lives in the "universe"repo ,

          kubuntu-desktop is a meta package. "It is safe to remove this package if some of the desktop system packages are not desired."

          kubuntu-full is a meta package. "It is safe to remove this package if some of the desktop system packages are not desired."

          You should not have any issue accepting the action -- "Do you want to continue? [Y/n]"

            ksnapshot is not a meta package however ,,,,,,,,,,,perhaps it will reinstall .

                Okay if its safe to remove them, although i have no clue why it wants to. Better burn another daily build and burn a copy just in case..

                    caution is always prudent .

                    the only thing of note you will be missing is knsnapshot ,,,,,,,,but I would think it should reinstall ,,,,one of it's dependencies IS libkipi11.

                        Note this installation was upgraded from vivid origianally although this is my first major issue.

                          Humm ,,IDK you have them all enabled.

                          I'd go ahead and do the -f install and let ksnapshot get removed and then see if you can add it back .

                          have your install media ready just in case

                            It went okay and i rebooted and it started up fine.

                            Edit: It is also saying this..
