I have an HP Pavilion (15-AB188CA - AMD A10-8700P "Carrizo") and a minor annoyance with the default behavior of it at power on I use this notebook at home and on the road. When I'm at home, I lime to have it hooked up to an external monitor. But the issue is it won't display anything on the monitor untill after it boots, and so I must leave the lid open for grub (cause unfortuantly I do need to Boot Win10 on occasion). The UEFI BIOs is very limited in settings (like all modern notebooks) and so no I can't tell it what to use by default. Is there anyway to force Grub2 to display on both or to simply use the external display when it is hooked up?
