    Backuppc

    I have just installed the 64bit version of 15.10. Previous to that I had 14.04. Perhaps I am missing a repository but I cannot locate Backuppc in the software centre.
    What am I missing?

    I'm not at the level where I can install from source so don't even want to go that route. Backuppc was there in 14.04. Is this something that has been dropped?

    Would appreciate any help on this.

    It's there, but as it is primarily a cli application (though with a web based gui available) , this is probably why it doesn't show in Ubuntu's software center or in Discover. It can be installed using the advanced Muon Package Manager, or from the command line.

      Thanks...I just had to install a package manager then it was fine
