    plasma 5.5.3:

    hi all,
is there any way to reduce the size of the panel icons in the system tray when vertical?
at the moment they are HUGE and look plain ugly. Googled around but found nothing other than a bug report.

AFAIK, the size of the icons is related to the width/height (depending on orientation) of the Panel. When horizontally positioned, if you decrease the height of the Panel, the icons on it decrease in size. So, have you tried, in your case, making the Panel width narrower?

The KDE Plasma 5 is using qml /1, 2/ scripts to create the user interface. User can edit the scripts. The KDE plasma system tray plasmoid code is at: /usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.plasma.systemtray/ . The Icon sizes can be edited at /usr/share/plasma/plasmoids/org.kde.plasma.systemtray/contents/code/Layout.js .

Using a bit smaller size - so the there can be two columns.

      After edit:

      Stop plasmashell:
      Code:
      kquitapp5 plasmashell
      Restart plasmashell:
      Code:
      plasmashell

      Before you edit, BACKUP !
