Ok it might be a general kde 5.9 issue but I haven't been able to find anything on the web for this (maybe an incorrect search string).
I downloaded some icon themes and workspace themes from kde look. They appear in system settings listings, I can apply them but nothing changes, theme and appearance remain the same.
A previous thread on this site answered partially my question as an user stated that there shouldn't be many themes for the new kde.
However I see that I'm stuck with the default one and, despite this being not so important, I wish to use kubuntu 15.10 as my primary system.
I like transparent, delicate themes much in the style of what they do in Cupertino ( that's the only thing I like of them, for the rest I love linux)
