Inconsistent notifications

Notifications on my system are wildly inconsistent since upgrading. Sometimes, they will be dark themed and in the upper right hand corner of my screen and other times they will be light themed and in the bottom right hand corner. Once I had booth Ive tried configuring them, but KDE seems to be ignoring all the configuration Im doing. Any ideas?

Are you using the default plasma 5 theme? If not it may be that the theme your using is not compatible with plasma 5

Yeah, Ive tried several different themes, including the default one, and none of them have any effect on the notifications.
