I was happily using KMail until my employer stopped IMAP and now uses only Exchange. The only Linux mail client I can find that has an option to use Exchange is Evolution (with the -ews add-on). So I am keen to install it. But I have tried repeatedly to install without success. I have also looked at and tried advice on various Linux help sites, but to no avail.
After the latest day of attempts, here's what I get when I try to start it from the konsole:
(evolution:3083): Gtk-WARNING **: Failed to register client: GDBus.Errorrg.freedesktop.DBus.Error.ServiceUnknown: The name org.gnome.SessionManager was not provided by any .service files
(evolution:3083): GLib-GIO-ERROR **: Settings schema 'org.gnome.evolution.shell.network-config' is not installed
If I try to start it from the application launcher it just dies without trace.
Has anyone got any ideas?
Thanks in advance, Mike.
