    Plasma 4

    Hi Folks,

is there any way, to remove Plasma 5 and to go back to Plasma 4? Plasma 5 is still unstable (for example: just try to actrivate "slide show" on two different Desktops) but that's not the reason:
it's no longer possible to choose "Different Aktions for different Desktops" (see here: http://goo.gl/Oke3i2). As you can see: it's not planned to implement this feature instead they want me to use Activities (not useful for me).
So: is there any way to go back to KDE4 (i know: most of the applications are still KDE4. But I want my Desktop back) or do I have to downgrade to Kubuntu 14.04?

thanks for your help in advance and

    best regards

Short answer is that if you want Plasma 4 you need to go back to 14.04 or 14.10.

Claydoh explained why in another post here somewhere.

From what I found, you would have to use 14.04 version.

Well that's fine. Heise.de (http://www.heise.de/open/artikel/Wen...4-2617246.html) recommends that, too.
No good reason to update, just many good reasons to stay on 14.04 and KDE4. So I will do a restore this evening.
