Personally, I hope this is true, because this issue has made me crazy.
On a clean install to an HP netbook, I simply got a standard desktop - exactly what I wanted. KB 14.10, and previous versions has tried or INSISTED that I have a laptop desktop, which I detest. KB 14.10 even gave me a task bar both top and bottom, which I could NOT get rid of.
In KB 15.04 I can find no option to set the desktop to either laptop or standard desktop. Hallelujah!
Previously, I'd had to do this: System Settings > Workshop Appearance and Behavior > Workspace Behavior > Workspace - workspace type option - choose desktop.
QUESTION: Do I have this right, or am I missing something?
