Hi
I've found that with my DELL Inspiron 1545 when I hibernate it, it can take up to 30 minutes or more to wake up. After about 10 minutes I can just about use it but the response to everything is awful.
I can see in the system monitor that the swap file usage is very high (as you'd expect if hibernated) however it is really slow in paging the stuff out of swap file into real memory.
I have 4Gb... not a huge amount and the laptop is a few years old but I'd still expect it to be able to handle this sort of thing and come back within maybe 5 minutes? That would make it usable.
Any thoughts?
