Dolphin hangs up when opening a file in Kate from it

I am having the same issue as in this bug report:

Its been doing this for me since beta2. Did a fresh install after release date and still have the same issue. My work around is to open the first text document in Dolphin then in Kate do a File Open and open the rest that way. Kind of annoying...

Indeed, same here...
I can open the first two then Dolphin is locked until I close Kate.

I basically code in KDevelop but opening from dolphin is very handy to open config files etc. Can't edit files on network too. Real deal breaker.

Kubuntu got an upgrade last week. Dolphin was included in it but bug still present :-/
