Feature Request -- Desktop Settings IN System Settings

I really prefer how KDE allows the user to control all sorts of things. One pet peeve is I ALWAYS forget where the desktop settings live. I look and look inside system settings and then I remember, oh yeah, it's a desktop thing. Somehow it's not intuitive.

Perhaps Kubuntu could simply drop a desktop settings link within WORKSPACE THEME... so that this base is covered both ways.

The desktop is actually a specific kind of folder. Folder settings are accessed by right-clicking the folder and choosing Folder settings in the menu. When the desktop layout is "Default desktop," KDE changes this menu item to Desktop settings. If you click that and change the layout to "Folder," then right-click the desktop, you'll see Folder settings in the menu now.

I'm sorry. I'm not sure I understood that response.

While that wouldn't be entirely impossible, there are a few reasons why the settings are accessible where they are:
        1. Desktop settings are separate for each activity (so if you have 6 activities, you have 6 different desktop settings.)
        2. The "desktop" is basically just a plasma widget, so it's configurable the same way like other widgets, through plasma itself (using the desktop toolbox or right-click context menu).

You're not the first that has wondered why the settings aren't available from system settings, though. It usually helps if you start thinking of the desktop as a widget.

Ah! I get it now. Thanks.

Still -- would there be any harm in putting a LINK in settings to the plasma desktop settings? Do you know what I mean? For instance, there are LEAVE buttons all over the place in KDE right now instead of one place.
