Caligra problem

    Caligra problem

    It appears there is a problem between the calligrasheets and calligra-data packages. Upon trying to install Sheets I get this message.

[/FONT][FONT=monospace]trying to overwrite '/usr/share/kde4/services/calligra/calligra_filter_dbase2kspread.desktop', which is also in package calligra-data 1:2.9.0-0ubuntu5[/FONT]
    Is there any way to resolve this?

    Check if using the nuclear option won't complain about anything else: sudo apt-get install --force-yes --simulate calligrasheets
    If you don't see any reported issues, then issue the command without the simulation: sudo apt-get install --force-yes calligrasheets
    Windows no longer obstructs my view.

      It didn't work. I still come up with that same message. I find that odd.

        The other approach would be to un-install Calligra, update the package cache, and then install calligra again. Here, installing calligra will install the following:
        The following NEW packages will be installed:
        braindump calligra calligra-data calligra-libs calligraauthor calligraflow calligraflow-data calligraplan calligrasheets calligrastage calligrastage-data calligrawords
