Wine just kill my Kubuntu

Hi,

Fisrt of all, I am french so sorry for my bad english.

I just install Wine and I cannot use kubuntu anymore.
when I lauch kubuntu, I get a black screen during few minutes then I can enter my password.
But after entering my password : nothing.
A black screen.
And That's all.

Can I have some help ?

Not that I don't believe you, but Wine would not / cannot kill Kubuntu (KDE).

But this would

If your getting a black screen when you boot up and not displaying the graphical screen (desktop) it maybe a problem with X11 server or with the graphics driver you have installed.

Apart from installing Wine can you tell us what other things you did before this problem occurred? Can you also tell us what graphics card your using and what driver is installed? Is the driver open or proprietary?

More clues about your system and what you've done would be helpful.

Sorry for answering so late and thanks for your answer.

I thought it was the installation of Wine because it is the only unusual thing I did this day.
But it was the second time it append.
The first time was few days after the installation of Kubuntu.
I fixed it by changing the driver.
I used a second screen to do that. My computer screen was black but the second screen worked.
I just checked the second driver in the list of three open drivers.

And I didn't change that since this time.
