Updates appear to have fozen the computer!
My brothers computer froze after applying a recent update from Muon Update Manager. I reinstalled and everything works. I updated again. The mouse and keyboard are completely unresponsive. The touch screen will chirp and move the mouse pointer but I can not select anything. HP Touch Smart. I think its from 2008 or some time around then. It works with Windows Vista. It came from the factory with Windows Vista and the driver for the touch screen installed. Is Kubuntu 14.10 compatible with earlier touch screens?
I am going to try a fresh install of Kubutu 15.10 and see if the new version can work properly on my brother's computer.

Just to remind users and devs that Ubuntu and its flavors have a long way to go to be as usr friendly as they should be.
