Nvidia settings not being remembered.

I'm running a laptop in a docking station. With plasma 4 I could pop it in and out and it would mostly remember my rotated monitor and no problems.

Its working OKish under plasma 5 except that it forgets the monitor rotation. Also when I do rotate the monitor using the nvidia-settings program, the wallpaper on that monitor only scales to the top half of the rotated monitor, no the whole thing.
