    opera browser

Anyone know how to get adobe flash to work in 14.04 32-bit opera browser? Tried everything in Opera forum but no go. Opera and flash work fine in 64-bit. Thanks in advance.

Thank you Greygeek but I tried this already. Do you know where the file should be extracted to? Maybe I extracted it to wrong place.

No one knows? In opera 44 even preferences is gone. It's not very customizable anymore it seems.

Sorry, that was my only shot...

Is there a specific reason you want/need to use Adobe Flash Player and not Pepper Flash?

            Flash

Install this package to get flash:

sudo apt-get install pepperflashplugin-nonfreeThen restart Opera. If it's not working, you may also have to run:

            sudo update-pepperflashplugin-nonfree --install
Windows no longer obstructs my view.
Using Kubuntu Linux since March 23, 2007.

I need flash for some facebook games. I tried your suggestion snowhog but get ...
Embed failed, check flash player installation

pepper-flash was installed already and latest version.

              Then I did this...

              sudo update-pepperflashplugin-nonfree --install

but it's still not working. This is on my kubuntu 14.04 32-bit system. Opera works fine on my 16.04 64-bit system. I checked Opera's site but the instructions there are for version 12 so there is no preferences in version 44 or I don't know how to access it. If anyone knows where Opera ver. 44 looks for pepper-flash or adobe flash and knows how to get ver. 44 to go there I would appreciate it.
