No. This is the latest from from the Canonical Partners software source.

        I followed the directions here:
        Getting-Partner-Flash

        In muon:
        Settings --> Configure Software Sources
Click the Other Software tab and check Canonical Partners.
        Then click close.
The two packages you want to install for Kubuntu are adobe-flashplugin and adobe-flash-properties-kde.

I'm running Kubuntu 14.04 Trusty Tahr (LTS) with Chromium version 49.0.2623.87.
The Adobe Flash Player version is 21.0.0.182.

Thank you, life0riley. I had been running with 11.2 for a while now, which realy does not work on all flash sites.

Well after doing this my version of flash is Version: 11.2.999.999. So it does seem we now have to use the old flash on a 32bit system. Your version 21.0.0.182 is pepperflash not adobe.

Did you configure your software sources and add Canonical Partners?
After adding Canonical Partners did you install adobe-flashplugin and adobe-flash-properties-kde?

My Kubuntu 14.04 (LTS) is 32 bit:
              Code:
              life0riley@kubuntu1404:~$ uname -m
              i686
              life0riley@kubuntu1404:~$
I have done this on three systems and have used Synaptic Package Manager, Muon, and the terminal. All have worked.

Here is the output from the terminal on Kubuntu 14.04 (LTS): (Note flashplugin-installer will be removed)
              Code:
              life0riley@kubuntu1404:~$ sudo apt-get install adobe-flashplugin adobe-flash-properties-kde
              [sudo] password for life0riley:

I disabled flash in Firefox. HTML5 works fine in Firefox. I use Chromium if I want to view flash videos.

Here is a screen shot from Chromium after I finished:

It looks like Adobe Flash Player to me.

Yes, I added Canonical Partners. It did exactly as you said, removed flashplugin-installer. Installed libkutils4 and now chromium says flash is 11.2.999.999. I had 21.0.0.197 before this which was pepperflash. I'm thinking since google no longer supports chrome 32bit the flash for it can not be updated. This is why I stopped using firefox because of the old flash not working on some sites. do you still have pepperflash installed, maybe?

OK, I think I see what's happening. In a website I right click a flash game it reports version 21.0.0.182 which works fine. So it's not really 11.2.999.999. I don't really care as long as it works. Thank you.

I never had pepperflash installed. I stopped using flash mostly when Firefox started disabling it be default. HTML5 is fine on YouTube, but a lot of websites still use flash. I tried to install pepperflash a few months ago and discovered it was deprecated.

I use Firefox most of the time and Chromium only when I need flash.

Google chrome is no longer available for a 32bit linux os. So I switched to Chromium but now the pepperflash will not update because there's no chrome 32bit to get it from.

O,,,,,,,is that not a 64bit processor ,,,,,, what little googling I did leads me to think so.

I have 2 Dell systems. One is an E1505 with the Centrino processor 32bit running Kubuntu 14.04 which is the one I was having a flash problem with. Then I have the E1705 which is 64bit that I just did an upgrade to Kubuntu 16.04 developmental that I really like so far. However, the upgrade did stop responding at 99% where it was suppose to ask me if I wanted to keep or install a new config file. I know this because I had to restart and run sudo dpkg --configure -a to get the upgrade to finish and it asked me if I wanted to keep a configuration file or install a new one immediately. I took the default (no) but it changed it anyway.
