scan to pdf

I have a HP Officejet 4632. It has a scan to pdf function that works with windows. Makes it easy. Does anyone know of a way to make this work in Kubuntu 14.04? Not a critical thing, but if someone knows how, it would be nice.

While the skanlite program may not be able to scan to a pdf directly, you can "print" to pdf using the printing dialogs (in any program). I do believe that Xsane, a different scanner front end, may have this feature built in.

Simple scan does it too. just looking to see if anyone has made it easy for us old, lazy geeks

Xsane scans directly to pdf. I just did it 10 minutes ago...
