    What's up with this:

    Running muon-updater from the GUI results in this error message:

      In Muon Package Manager, go to Settings >> Configure Software Sources >> other software and make sure that the cdrom entry there is un-checked.
      From your second post, it looks like the updater is trying to find packages from the cdrom drive, but there aren't any. This entry is usually left un-checked by default, since one needs a specially configured disk to use as an update source.

        Thanks! Got my updates. Don't know how that got checked.
        Shouldn't I be seeing a dist upgrade now? I changed from long term supported to normal releases and still no upgrade

          Did the dist upgrade from the console. Worked but stalled requiring some recovery work.
