I have recently installed Clementine and was happy with it until I tried to stream from its internet sources. On my 15.04 laptop, it said a gstreamer plugin was missing--I didn't know which one, so I went to my 14.04 LTS desktop and tried it there. This time I got a message 'playlist finished' before it even played anything. I tried another source and I got a message saying it could not decode the stream. What seems to be the problem?

Please start Clementine from a console window and try to do some stuff. Copy/paste any console messages to a reply here -- let's see if it throws some diagnostic info.

You can either try and identify the missing codec needed to play streamed audio and install it or simply install kubuntu-restricted-extras which will install every multimedia codec available to Ubuntu which in turn will allow you to stream the audio through Clementine.

Open Muon Package Manager and look for/install the gstreamer "plugins-bad" and "plugins-bad-multiverse" packages.Windows no longer obstructs my view.
