    Audio player direct from CD?

Is there any audio player that will just play directly from an audio CD without ripping the track to disk first?

I tried kscd, cccd, Audacious, l then gave up. Amarok does the same thing. They all insist on ripping the track from my CD burner first, THEN they play it. Not too great if one is just trying to sample some tracks.

I used Dolphin to browse the CD, then chose the application to open it with.

    Thanks.

    Frank.

that dose not happen @hear ,,,,,,Amarok will just play it .

put in cd .......open amarok ,,,,,,,,on the left side click "local music" wait for the cd track list or cd to appear(may take a min) ,,,,play tracks.

Yep, that did it. Now I feel pretty stupid.

I just didn't recognize that the tracks were under the Audio CD button. All I saw was the list of music I had on the hard disk.

      Thanks.
