Widgets missing

Hi, I have KDE 14.04 with KDE SC 4.13.3 install on both a desktop computer and a HP laptop.

It happens that, at least one widget ("Search and launch" or "search and run", don't know the exact translation from spanish) is missing from the laptop installation. How can I reinstall widgets? or why does this happens?

are you looking in the right place ,,,,,,,search and launch is a "desktop containment" ,,,,,,, right click the desktop>default desktop settings>click the drop down box for "layout" you should see it hear

Yes, I know the layout "search and launch" is there but on the PC I also have a widget called the same, and the widget looks like a box containing that layout. It is a widget with a search box and when I search something there it instantly shows the results, just as if the "search and launch" layout was inside a box. I don't see that widget on the laptop Kubuntu installed version.

Thank you, it certainly does the trick. But still it is not the widget I was talking about. That widget looks and acts exactly as the activity but embedded in a resizable box. Anyway, do you know of any lists of widget packages?
