yoxos launcher disappears into an unknown place [to me]

At work I use yoxos launcher, https://yoxos.eclipsesource.com/, to start eclipse. It uses controls on the splash screen. But when I try to click something on it disappears. The program does not end it just goes away. Sometimes when I kill the process the window reappears briefly.

What can I do to find out what is really going on?

I need to find a solution so that I don't have to use my workaround.

My workaround for it is to start icewm. Launch yoxos launcher. Start kwin. And plasma desktop crashes and I have to start it again. But now I have only my panel in the first workspace.
