KDE Wastebin Widget not updating

Hi, I have added the Wastebin widget to the taskbar panel. Problem is it is not updating at to what is in the trash. It stays grey even when i move things to the trash and doesnt give me the option to empty the trash because of it
Can anyone help?

What Desktop Theme are you using?

It's a customized one from ones downloaded from a mixture of the workspace appearance > desktop theme > Get New themes. A theme called Klassik-Blue orignally.

May i add an edit. It seems to not update regularly. For instance if I forcefully close the taskbar then reopen it then the wastebin shows as it should, full, then when emptied it reverts to grey as it should. When i add something to the bin it doesnt update

I'd assume it has somthing to do with the 'mixed' theme you are using. Switch to one of the defaults -- Oxygen -- and see if the trash behaves normally. If it does, then it is your cobbled theme that is creating the issue.

I tried changing to deafult and it worked and now gone back to my custom theme and it's still working...bit strange but it's all good now, thanks Snowhog!
