    User Manager only shows administrator

Went in to create a new user just now and found that User Manager only lists myself in the user list despite there being two other users. I checked in the terminal and all my users are still around, they just dont show up in system settings. Can anybody confirm this?

I do confirm this, Kubuntu 14.04, I have two users, myself and another, but only myself (as admin) is visible in User Manager.
Kubuntu 24.11 64bit under Kernel 6.12.1, Hp Pavilion, 6MB ram. Stay away from all things Google...

Install "kuser" but it looks to not show up in the system settings.
It is in the System menu.

The kubuntu control panel is missing group management though.

Why would an average user want to add or modify groups? Or adding an user
                      to them?

I'm willing to do the work but so far I have found no real reason for it.

Power users can always use kuser since it is the app designed for them.

...we usedto have userconfig on our images which could edit user groups
as well as user accounts. The new user-manager can only edit user
accounts with a simple tick box for groups. If you want more fine
grained control of groups you need to install userconfig or kuser...
