My old skype was discontinued I believe to had to update to a new client but I am not sure. Was not working anymore.
I just upgraded my system. By mistake made a complete installation with Ubuntu with Ubity. Terrible. Tried to switch to KDE but in the end had to re install Kubuntu from scratch.
The new Skype ( Debian Version 4.3) is still not working. It starts up now, logs in (the previous version could not log in anymore) and then it crashed with a segmentation fault.
I need skype urgently. I can't donwload it myself, a friend downloaded it for me and emailed it to me (I am in China, don't want the chinese Version and if I use a proxy the download does not start).
I have so many computer problems I can't believe it.
