yea. the simulation is great! what are your repositories? how many do you have?
ive played around with it with different edits of sources.list , for example just leaving one repository there: 'main' and then running simulation where the dist-upgrade among the updates wanted to remove 4 programs - seeing them unfit , he he, i guess. it's very cool option.
btw.ubuntu wiki is almost useless. like this entry https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BootServices
1. bum is frikking crap, shows like 4 services running on my server, doesnt show squid, doesnt show plexmediaserver and i know those are running
2. wiki which suggests: sudo apt-get install rcconf for services management
which is not in repos,
its difficult to find any useful information there.
seriously toying with the idea of rebuilding the server on a SSD with Debian just to have a useful wiki to learn from.
