    Having Trouble Viewing PDFs

What is the best tool (add-on, extension, app, etc.) to view PDFs in Kubuntu? In particular, there is a web site I use for business that outputs reports to PDF, but Firefox doesn't seem to be up to the task of viewing and printing them. Instead, I get a new window open with nothing in it but a black line frame around the boarder. This is peculiar because the link at the top of this blank is this abbreviated link:

http://www. [omitting business website here] /StreamPdf.aspx

What is a streaming pdf active server page anyway? I really need to be able to view or at least download from this site without booting up Windoze. It used to work in past versions of kubuntu, but I can't get it to work under Trusty.

Try Okular. You can set Firefox to use Okular by default when opening PDFs.

      okular is the go...

im just switching over to chromium lately, from firefox, there is a few reasons for this. one of them is that firefox does not handle online .pdf files very well - chromium does it instantly with no hickups.

chromium imported everything needed from firefox too.. try it
