How Can I Open A Dual-Layer DVD .ISO File On Kubuntu?

    Hi,

I downloaded a large dual-layer DVD ISO and can't open it in Dolphin?
I also can't extract it using Ark?

How can I open this dual-layer DVD ISO on Kubuntu 14.04 LTS 64Bit?
    Thanks!

    Jesse

    Maybe this will help?

    https://apps.ubuntu.com/cat/applications/furiusisomount

Note: Just be aware of this little comment from there:
The program is great but the mounted image doesn't show up in the sidebar or in Disks. You can only access it in the Files browser.

      Hi,

Thank you, but I tried FuriousIsoMount and although it mounts the dual-layer DVD ISO the mount folder is always empty?
Any other ideas, I need to access the data on this ISO.

      Thanks!

        dual layer iso?

        it's just an iso
        so
mount -o loop /mntpoint insert image name there somewhere

          fading_twilight_dual_layer_dvd_edition.iso OJJ5700_Full_13.exe
          [kickass.to]os.x.mavericks.10.9.retail.vmware.image.torrent SteamSetup.exe
          jezxlee@jezxlee-B85M-HD3:~/Desktop/JeZxLee/Downloads$ sudo mount -o loop /home/jezxlee/Desktop fading_twilight_dual_layer_dvd_edition.iso
          [sudo] password for jezxlee:
          /home/jezxlee/Desktop: Is a directory
          jezxlee@jezxlee-B85M-HD3:~/Desktop/JeZxLee/Downloads$

create a folder for the iso to be mounted

            sudo mount name-of-the.iso dir-you-just-created

ahoy, matey, you might want to sanitize your terminal copy paste there

the paths are wrong in your mount command ,,,,,,,,,,,this

              Code:
vinny@vinnys-HP-G62:~$ apt search service menu mount iso
              Sorting... Done
              Full Text Search... Done
              irssi-scripts/trusty 20131030 all
                collection of scripts for irssi

              [COLOR=#ff0000]kde-service-menu-fuseiso/trusty 0.2-0ubuntu2 all
Small set of service menu entries for KDE to access ISO images[/COLOR]
has always worked for me , it will add an option to mount the .iso when you right click it in dolphin

                Hi,

                That worked, I am in!

P.S. - I own OS X - I bought the DVD from Apple, but could not install it to VMWare so used a torrent
