Where To Find KATE Color Schemas That Work With 14.04?

    Hi,

I am a developer who wants to use default KATE text editor
but am having difficulty with viewing source code with the available color schemas.

I Google'd alot but could not find a place to download new KATE color schemas.
Can someone tell me where is a good place to download KATE color schemas?
(they would have to be fully compatible with KATE in Kubuntu 14.04)

I am interested in a dark color schema(black background and light colored text)
I tried "Solarized (dark)" but the bright neon text hurts my terrible eyes...

    Thank you for your help!

did you try going to ,,,,,kate>settings>configure kate>fonts and colors ,,,,,,and change background colors and font colors to what you want ,,,,,,,in fact you can make your own custom schema in this setting dialog!!

      Hi,

I would prefer to import a dark color schema rather than have to manually change everything.
(I work with multiple programming languages in KATE)
